A purpose built shooting layout has been erected for the guests of The K Club a short distance from the resort. There you can avail of the different disciplines on offer plus the expert tuition from our trappers. 20 and 12 gauge shotguns are provided to suit both ladies and gents.

The layout consists of Driven Bird, Down the Line, Springing Teal and combinations.

Game Shooting

The Hotel has a number of shoots taken at different locations throughout the country. The shooting consists of driven shoots up to 10 guns and walk up shoots up to 8 guns. The principle shooting area is Wicklow, with Coolattin Estate the most frequently used.

Also available is a 300 bird day back to back, with an over night stay at The K Club. One hour by road, from hotel to estate.

Booking

All game shooting must be booked by March of that year with opening season beginning September 1st for Ducks and November 1st for Pheasants.

All game shooting finishes on January 30th with the exception of specified Estates that have special licences to continue until February 15th.
