The K Club is proud to announce the introduction of the International Club

The International Club was launched in conjunction with the opening of the Smurfit Course, the second Arnold Palmer designed course at The K Club and venue for the 2006 Ryder Cup matches - the first time this event has been held in Ireland since it inception in 1927. Initially 125 member places will be available.

The K Club is a sumptuously restored Georgian Estate set in 550 acres of gardens, walks and lush Irish countryside with the famous river Liffey running through the grounds. The Hotel, Irelands only AA 5 Red Star is handsomely furnished with fine antiques and richly decorated with famous paintings and artworks, including the magnificent Jack B Yeats Collection. From the moment you arrive you are met with the highest standards of gracious living. Exquisite, classical surroundings with the warmest most discretely helpful people you have ever met.

The North Course a magnificent Par 72 golf course at The K Club, was home to the The European Open for 14 years. The South Course is a wonderful new addition, also designed to championship standards, with a maximum length of 7277yards, Par 72, undulating fairways, testing greens, numerous bunkers and water features. Both courses provide distinctly different golfing experiences unique to The K Club

Local Area

The K Club is only 30 minutes transfer time from Dublin International Airport.

Dublin city centre for shopping and sightseeing is about 40 minutes for the Hotel. The Curragh, Punchestown, Leopardstown and Naas Racecourses are all with 30 minutes. Other places of interest close by include Castletown House, National Stud Farm, and the Japanese Gardens

International Club Membership

Features & Privileges

• Membership term: 25 years
• International Club Membership is available to individuals and corporations alike
• Spouse/Partner and immediate Family may play with a Member at special family green fee rate
• A concierge service is available to International Club Members through with bookings may be made for both the The K Club and activities outside the Club, when visiting Ireland
• International Club Members will enjoy special rates in Hotel and Courtyard Suites and for meeting/conference rooms, subject to availability.
• International Club Members enjoy playing rights on both Golf Courses
• International Club Membership is redeemable on a 4 for 1 entrance policy less a 15% transfer fee
• International Club Membership is inheritable to immediate Family Subject to approval by the Executive Committee of the International Club
• International Club Membership includes River and Lake Fishing Privileges
• International Club Membership may use the new Health Spa and Leisure Club at preferred rates
• International Club Members may introduce up to 3 accompanied guests per day
• International Club Members may introduce up to 4 unaccompanied guests per day
• No guests (excluding immediate Family) may be introduced more then 3 times per annum
• International Club Members will be allocated a named locker when visiting
• International Club Members will be eligible to play in International Club Member Invitational Tournaments held on either the North or South Golf Course
• No restrictions on number of visits to the Club
• Membership does not carry voting Rights
• This membership is available to persons who reside permanently outside the island of Ireland
