OPEN CHAMPION PADRAIG HARRINGTON RETURNS TO K-CLUB FOR LINKS GOLF CHARITY CLASSIC
Open Champion and Ryder Cup star Padraig Harrington returned to the
K-Club yesterday to take part in the Links Golf Charity Classic, which raised over EUR100,000 for the charity.
44 teams took part in the golf classic on the Palmer Course and almost
300 guests were present for the dinner at the Audi-sponsored event.
Padraig Harrington, who was a member of the European team that retained the Ryder Cup at the K-Club in 2006 was delighted with the condition of the course which he said "was in the best condition that he has ever seen in his 17 years of playing The K Club".
