Delegates and their partners will relish the chance to indulge at the deluxe K Spa, enjoy a smooth Irish whiskey or cocktail at the Vintage Crop Bar or sample the exquisite, award-winning cuisine at the Byerley Turk Restaurant, one of the most elegant dining-room in Ireland.
The K Club’s dedicated event experts will be guide you through every detail of the event, co-ordinating every thing within the conference schedule to spa days for partners programs, private drinks and dining, and any other special events – among those on offer are Liffeyside barbecues, tours of the hotel’s acclaimed wine cellar, cookery demonstrations and even a duck race on the river.
A helicopter-landing pad facilitates easy access from Dublin Airport and transfers to the city itself, while the capital’s motorway network is within easy access of the resort. The entire property enjoys wireless broadband internet access.
The conference facilities are spread across three properties on the estate – the main hotel, the Palmer Clubhouse and the Smurfit Clubhouse. Each offers a different conference experience and each can be tailored to individual requirements.
THE HOTEL
The Tower Room
The Tower Room has a U-shaped boardroom table seating up to 25 people and is the perfect venue for off-site board meetings, presentations and brain-storming sessions. Measuring 10m x 6m, it comes with full AV facilities, yet offers all the comfort and sophistication that are the trademarks of this historic hotel and estate.
The John Jefferson Smurfit Room
This ornately decorated, high-ceilinged room measures 10m x 6.5m. It enjoys a spectacular view over the magnificent hotel garden, River Liffey and the island is ideal for private dining, cocktail parties and meetings. It seats 30 in U-shape configuration, 35 in boardroom, 40 in classroom, 50 theatre-style, 50 for private lunches or dinners and up to 60 guests for cocktail parties.
The Yeats Room
Imagine a small, intimate meeting or private pre-dinner drinks in a room hung with some of the finest masterpieces ever painted in Ireland. That’s what is on offer in The Yeats Room, which features one of the most complete collections of works by Jack B Yeats – brother of
Nobel Prize-winning poet William Butler Yeats – in a private collection. Extraordinary and utterly unique, this is an inspirational setting.
THE PALMER CLUBHOUSE
The Arnold Palmer Room
Located in the Palmer Clubhouse, the Arnold Palmer Room can cater for up to 120 people. At 21m x 12m, it is ideal for larger meetings and private dinners and is also popular for weddings and celebrations of other family occasions. Fully air-conditioned and bathed in light, it overlooks the 18th green and 10th fairway of the Palmer Golf Course. It accommodates 40 delegates (U-shape); 45 (boardroom); 75 (classroom); 120 (theatre); 150 (private lunch/dinner) and 250 (cocktail party).
THE SMURFIT CLUBHOUSE
The Legacy Suite
The Legacy Suite, located on the ground floor of the Smurfit clubhouse, is a warmly decorated function room catering for up to 300 people. It is fully air-conditioned, has a private bar and overlooks the 18th green. The Legacy Suite can be divided into two separate rooms and has been the preferred choice of venue for some of Irelands finest weddings and meetings.
The Deacon Room
The Deacon Room, located on the first floor of the Smurfit Clubhouse, is a purpose built meeting room and accommodates 30 delegates (U-shape); 40 (boardroom); 50 (classroom); 60 (theatre-style); 70 (private lunch/dinner), or 100 for a cocktail party.
